You registered a machine (or asked us to research one). Once our first pass is ready, it lands in your inbox as “Your SORT profile — your machine.” This page shows you exactly what's in it, what the two status labels mean, and what to do next. Nothing here is a surprise — it's the same email, every time.
Enter or register a machine →Every report opens with one of two banners. They are the most important lines in the email, because they tell you how much to trust the part numbers.
⏳ NOT YET TECH-VERIFIED
An automated first pass, sent the moment it was ready so you can start right away. A SORT technician has not checked it yet. Treat part numbers as “likely, confirm before you order.”
✓ TECH-VERIFIED
A SORT technician checked this profile (the date is shown). Higher confidence — the fault list and part numbers have had a human eye.
Below is a real example of the layout. Sections that don't apply are simply left out.
Hi Dave,

If you registered a machine you're considering buying, the email is "Your SORT pre-purchase report" (a “PIS”). Same idea, different focus — it tells you whether the machine is worth it before you pay:
Decided to buy it? One tap on your profile link converts it to an owned machine — and we keep all of this research.
Because waiting helps no one. The first pass is automated so you can start immediately — and it's clearly labelled as not-yet-verified so you know exactly what you're looking at. Book a call and we prioritize the human review.
Reply to the email and say so. We confirm it before you order — that's the whole point of the review step. You'll never be told to buy a part on a guess.
No. You can research a machine you're shopping for (you'll get the pre-purchase report), or just join with an email — no machine needed.
The link is at the bottom of every report email ("Your living profile"). It's your private token link — bookmark it. Open it to see your machines, their reports, and to book a call.
Check spam first. If it's not there, reply to any SORT email or re-open your profile link — we'll resend it. Reports are also always available from your profile page.
Being a member and getting your machine's report is free. Deeper options (more machines, the Owner's Circle, live calls) exist, but nothing here requires paying.
